The Saga Continues!
Plan 9 is ready to rockΒ your world at a local cheap,
trashy bar in and around Lombard, Illinois in 1977!
I’ll be doing full pages from here on out and the story will pick up not too long after Bud first moved in with Jeff which the first four comics showed in an homage to my old drawing style back in 2008. I hope to be a bit more cohesive this time around and stick more to their troubles being a band than their day-to-day life as I mostly did in the previous version. We shall see.
I can’t think of a better way to launch a new story than with the main theme from “Star Wars.” I saw the film thirteen times in theaters back in 1977. Today’s comic is actually a take-off of a cover I did to start a big storyline back in 2009 and I had the gang dressed up as characters from “Star Wars” and a record in the background as the Death Star. Anyway, I’ve heard the “Star Wars” main theme hundreds, if not thousands, of times over the past 48 years and I’m still not tired of it. Enjoy!
I think I only saw the original in theatres once, but that fall when a friend of mine swerved off the road at night into a stand of birch saplings and the csar started to flip over, the first thing that went through my head was ‘we’re making the jump to light speed’…luckily no major injuries, I spent a week in hospital though, mainly because the one on base didn’t get many inpatients and I think I was temproarily reassigned as the duty training aid until everyone was requalified on patient care. The fun part was I had a small hematoma on my liver and after that was under control ad healed the Dr ordered two cans of beer a day to ‘check the function’ π Best hospital stay ever.
Your CanCon Classic this time also comes from 1977 and it’s a little spacy besides…I know it’s a repost but new comic so that doesn’t count π

I remember a plan 9 album cover so I suspect they will cut a record still with the profits they earned. Bud would have been better of taking business, law or stem in college with frat boys scaring him with spiders mohahahaha. There is the navy dancing with the village people on a Bob Hope special. No matter Bud can always go to see the Star Wars movie ah escapism.
If this is them later on, ‘old’ lorraine rocks π
I’d say Meco’s disco version of Star Wars would be a better option. π
